YPSILANTI, Mich. -- The Cornerstone University women's indoor track and field team took home the 2008 WHAC Championship with a stellar performance at Bowen Field House on the campus of Eastern Michigan University Saturday night.
The Golden Eagles tallied a team score of 167, 23-points better than runner up Indiana Tech. Cornerstone saw Amy VanderSloot capture the individual title in the women's 800 while Danielle Rowe was the high jump champion at 1.70 meters and Kay-De Vaughn took home the women's long jump and triple-jump individual championships.
