Battle, a senior guard from Cleveland, Ohio, averaged 26 points and 6.5 rebounds in two games last weekend at the Point Loma Nazarene University Seaside Classic in San Diego, California.  Battle posted a team high 23 points, 19 in the first half, against NAIA DI No. 22 Point Loma Nazarene.  Battle then scored 29 with nine rebounds, three assists a block and four steals in MU’s 74-72 win over San Diego Christian on Saturday.

Woodberry, a senior guard from Detroit, Michigan, posted back-to-back 25 point nights in a pair of wins for the Panthers.  Woodberry added eight rebounds, three assists and four steams while shooting 11-for-18 from the floor in a 69-57 home win over Spring Arbor University.  She then posted a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds to go with five assists while shooting 10-for-12 from the floor in DU’s 82-63 upset of No. 2 ranked St. Francis (Ind.) on the road.  For the week, Woodberry averaged 25 points, 11 rebounds, four assists ad 2.5 steals per game while shooting an amazing .700 from the floor.
