Grand Rapids, Mich. -- Some of the finest teams in the country will descend on Riverside Park Saturday, November 3rd for the NAIA Region VIII Cross Country Championship hosted by Aquinas, Davenport and Cornerstone. The meet will host 15 schools, which totals 30 teams and over 300 runners, competing to earn a trip to the NAIA National Championship to held in Kenosha, WI on Sat., November 17.

Teams competing in the race include the nationally ranked teams of Aquinas, Cornerstone, Indiana Wesleyan, Indiana Tech and Spring Arbor. The team champion and the top five individuals will automatically advance to the national championships with the next three teams buying for an at-large berth based on the final national rankings.

The men’s race will kick off at 11 a.m followed by the woman at Noon.
