Grand Rapids, MI -- For Patrick Earl (Grand Rapids, MI/Catholic Central) his talents don't stop at running, this past Sunday Earl received a Grand Award at the 11th Annual Grand Awards ceremony which honors area actors.

Earl, an NAIA Academic All-American, received the award for his lead role in "Sunday in the Park with George,"presented by the Aquinas College Circle Theatre. " "It's so easy to do your best work when such wonderful people surround you," states senior Patrick Earl.

Earl, a four year member of the #2 ranked Aquinas Cross Country team, most recently finished 68th in a powerhouse packed cross country meet held at in Oregon. Competing in the highly regarded Charles Bowles Invitational hosted by Willamette University in Salem, Oregon where numerous NAIA ranked schools such as Lewis-Clark State (#5), Concordia, CA (#7) and Eastern Oregon (#9) as well as NCAA III #4 St. John’s. The men finished 2nd behind the host school .The men’s team time of 126:16 set a new school record.
