Cross Country Champions Crowned, Individual Honors Awards

Northville, MI - - Nationally ranked Aquinas College (#3) rode the wave of four of the top seven individual finishers on their way to the 2006 men's cross country conference championship Saturday afternoon at Cass Benton Park in Northville.

The Saints posted a team score of 27, 10-points better than runner up Cornerstone on their way to the WHAC title. Siena Heights and Concordia rounded out the team finishes with host Madonna not posting a team score due to injuries.

Derek Scott of Cornerstone University is the 2006 WHAC Individual Champion after posting a 25:28.16 finish.
