Grand Rapids, MI -- The Davenport Panthers are champions of men's golf after firing a team total 317 on their home course, Thornapple Pointe, in the final WHAC Jamboree of the season Thursday afternoon.
Brian Hayward of Aquinas College won the event with a one-over-par 73, pushing him to the top of the individual standings for the season.  Hayward was named the league's individual champion with a six-round average of 72.3.

Madonna University charged their way to a second place league finish behind a third-place individual mark today by Jon McMahon.  McMahon was one of six golfers who earned first team All-Conference accolades.
