DES MOINES, Iowa -  Setter Amber Getty posted a career high 59 assists to help Davenport top the school record for most wins in a season. The Panthers, now 23-5, continue to improve each year.

The last two seasons saw Davenport volleyball post 21 wins and the 22  to set new school records for a single season. That record was broken again after a sweep of Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) and Jamestown (N.D.) on Saturday. The perfect 4-0 weekend also grabbed the Grand View Tournament title as DU was the only undefeated school.

Getty had her career match with 59 assists against ONU to tie the record while freshman Marcey DeHaan led the attack with 15 kills. Four other players finished in double-digit kills while Lexie Spetoskey and Sidney Rodriguez each posted 18 digs.

The second match pitted the Panthers against Jamestown for the first time ever. The Jimmies entered the weekend receiving votes in the latest NAIA Top-25 poll. DU played a solid match thanks to the offensive production from DeHaan, Nicole Chase, and Hannah Stone for the sweep (25-20, 25-19, 25-21). The trio combined for 27 kills.

Davenport plays its final regular season match against Aquinas at home on Wed., Oct. 24 on Senior Night and will raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.
