CANTON, Mich. - (RESULTS) - The Davenport men's golf team grabbed its second consecutive conference with with a two-stroke advantage to take the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree #3 at Fellow Creek Golf Couse. Behind sophomore Alex Watier's tie with Adam Schmaltz of Siena Heights for individual medalist honors, the Panthers carded a team score of 297.

Davenport started the round with a three-stroke lead in the conference race over Madonna and finished with six-stroke lead in the standings. Davenport finished the tournament with a low score of 72 while Siena Heights was second (299) and Madonna third with a score of 300. Watier and Schmaltz shot even par for the title. Four other golfers finished one-over-par. The top 10 golfers finished the round no higher than three-over-par.

Lourdes hosts the final jamboree on Oct. 12 at Sylvania Country Club.
