Men's Golf - Sat, Sep. 8, 2012
ADRIAN, Mich.(9/8/12) – Host Siena Heights captured the first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Golf Jamboree behind the club of individual medalist Adam Schmaltz. The senior tied a school record with a one-under-par 70 at Lenawee Country Club.
SHU carded a 295 team score for 11-over-par to win by three strokes over Madonna (298). Nick Campbell placed fifth for the Saints with a 74 to round out SHU's top five finishers. Schmaltz held on to a two-stroke lead to best Tom Kocks of Indiana Tech and Bailey Mathieson of Cornerstone for the individual win.
Cornerstone hosts the first round Jamboree #2 on Tuesday and defending champion Davenport serves as host for the second round on Wednesday.
