MARION, Ind. - Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) athletes faired well at the 2012 NAIA Outdoor Track &Field National Championships hosted by Indiana Wesleyan. Indiana Tech finished in the top 10 in both the men's and women's team race and 50 individuals earned All-American status.
Lenzey Stidham of
Siena Heights cleared six inches more than the next competitor to claim the national title in the women's pole vault on opening day. The junior missed her first attempt at the starting height, but didn't miss again until the fourth increase at 12-07.5. She cleared the winning height on her second try while four others failed.
