Madonna 7-3 to advance to the championship game against #1
Indiana Tech.

After posting wins over #4
Northwestern Ohio and top-seeded Indiana Tech yesterday, the Saints got a home run and a double from
Josh White to reach the 30-win mark for the first time since 1994. SHU opened the scoring in the fourth inning with three runs. Madonna countered with a run in the fifth, but Siena scored again in the seventh and eighth. Madonna crossed the plate twice in the bottom of the seventh, but the Saints added two more runs of their own in the top of the ninth for the win.
Jake Sperry (6-3) got the win after giving up three runs on five hits.
Jake Kret got his fourth save of the year after 1.1 innings of relief.
Matthew Cook (7-4) suffered the loss for Madonna.

Davenport crossed the plate twice in the first inning, but the Warriors responded with two runs in the third to knot the game at 2-2. Tech added two more runs in the top of the fourth, DU scored once in the bottom of the fourth and twice in the fifth for a two-run advantage (6-4). Tech scored nine runs to Davenport's one in the final four innings for the win. Modesto Martinez picked up the win while Ryan Butzer suffered the loss.

In an elimination game, Tech scored in the bottom of the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Jake Owens only to have Madonna tie the game with a run in the seventh off the bat of Victor Barron. Thomas Barnes singled to start the bottom of the 10th and advanced to second when Reinaldo Scott walked. Brandon Paletta struck out swinging and Ignatius Mackenzie singled to left field to load the bases. Eric Wald took a walk to score Paletta for the win. Aaron Lewellyn (6-2) picked up the win with one hit and no runs. Andy Omiliam (1-1) suffered the loss after 1.2 innings of work.
