Host Siena Heights grabbed the first win of the day with three runs in the first inning off the bat of Ben Schubert. Schubert had another RBI in the eighth. Corey Alexander picked up the win while Pichi Torres suffered the loss.

SHU upset top-seeded Tech in the Saints second game of the day. Brandon Paletta scored Craig Herrmann to put Tech ahead 1-0 in the third inning, but Corey Caldwell hit a solo homer in the fifth inning to tie. Tech answered with four runs in the sixth and held a one-run lead (5-4) heading into the seventh inning when Brett Howard hit a three-run shot over the left-field wall. Dan Abott added a two-run shot in the ninth to push the Saints to the 9-5 win. Travis Mielcarek got the win, Jake Kret the save, and Alex Kimsey suffered the loss.
