The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the latest Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week.

Cody Risch, Cornerstone - The junior from Mason, Mich. walked the fastest time in the NAIA this season for the 5,000-Meter Race Walk. His time of 21:40.24 placed him first at the USATF Illinois Meet on April 21.

Igor Morales, Indiana Tech - The junior from Venezuela set two school records at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational. He hit the "A" standard in the pole vault with a winning height of 15'9" and placed sixth in the javelin with a distance of 131-10.   

Julie Oosterhouse, Cornerstone - The freshman from Byron Center, Mich. set a new school record at the Grand Valley State Al Owens Classic in the 800-meters with a time of 2:14.75. Her fourth-place finish was behind three NCAA DI athletes and beat several other Bi 10 Conference runners.

Emily Smith, Aquinas - The junior from Port Huron, Mich. won all four throwing events at the Ernie Mousseau Track & Field Invitational on April 21. She had a personal-best 160-2 throw in the hammer; threw 45.58 in the discus; 12.63 put in the shot; and 30.86 distance in the javelin.
