The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) recognized four student-athletes for the Outdoor Track & Field weekly honors. A Track Athlete of the Week and a Field Athlete of the Week are named for both the men and women.
Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Dontaey Paige, SO,
Indiana Tech - ran a season-best 10.88 in the 100-meter dash for 11th place at the
Sea Ray Relays hosted by the
University of Tennessee. The Fort Wayne native finished 17th in the 200-meters in a time of 21.85 and was on the winning 4 x 200 relay team that set a new school record at 1:25.84.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Ryan Helminiak, JR,
Aquinas - won the high jump at the
Siena Heights Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational with a mark of 6-9. The height qualifies the Manistee, Mich. native for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships and ranks him fifth in the nation.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Zalika Dixon, SO,
Indiana Tech - broke her own school record in the 400-meter hurdles with her third-finish time of 61.70 at the
Tennessee Sea Ray Relays. The Bronx, N.Y. native ran a personal best time of 14.94 in the 100-meter hurdles and met the NAIA "B" standard. She capped the weekend with a third-place finish as the 4x400 relay team ran its fastest time of the season.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Siena Heights - broke the school record in the high jump with a jump of 1.78 meters to take first place at the
Siena Heights Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational. The meet was SHU's first-ever outdoor meet.
