Diana Favela won her 100th career match for Davenport and was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week. The men's honor was not awarded.
The senior from San Luis Potosi, Mexico didn't drop a game in a duel with Cornerstone. Favela won 6-0, 6-0 at the #1 singles spot and teamed with sister Denisse for an 8-0 win in #1 doubles. She won 6-1, 6-1 and 8-0 at Indiana Tech and won 6-0, 6-2 and 8-2 for her 100th win against Northwestern Ohio. Favela has won 12 consecutive singles matches and has only one loss the entire season to an NAIA player.
The men's award was not given as no players were nominated.
