Madonna's Caitlyn Kuevelaar used her bat to earn the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Player of the Week award while Jeni Bollenbacher of Concordia used her arm for Pitcher of the Week honors.

Keuvelaar led the Crusaders to a 2-0 week with a 6-for-9 performance at the plate. The sophomore from Essexville, Mich. upped her season batting average by 398 points as she hit .667 in a two-game sweep (10-5, 12-0) of Albion (Mich.). She also drove in six runs and had a .667 slugging percentage. Madonna improved to 16-9 on the season.

A native from Edwardsburg, Mich., Bollenbacher was a major part of Concordia's four wins over Calvin (Mich.) last week. She notched three victories (6-4,2-1, 9-6) and a recorded a 6-5 save. The senior allowed two earned runs (0.71 ERA) and fanned 20 as she improved to 7-8-1. Concordia has won eight straight and sits at 12-13.
