Jaime Tomaszewski led Aquinas College to a 2-0 week to be named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week while Defensive Player of the Week Daniella Dedvukaj led Siena Heights University to two shutouts.
Tomaszewski posted her third hat trick this season with three goals during the Saints 4-1 victory at Concordia University. Aquinas also posted a 2-0 win at Cornerstone University. The senior is a huge part of Aquinas' eight-game winning streak and an 11-3-0 overall record (2-0-0 in WHAC).
A junior defender from Township, Mich., Dedvukaj anchored a defense that shutout two oppenents during the week, including an 1-0 win against Marygrove College (Mich.) and an 1-0 upset of conference leader Davenport University. SHU sits at 6-6-0 overall, 2-0-0 in league play. SHU battles Aquinas on Oct. 15.
