Cox of Davenport named Player of the Year.

Cornerstone University repeated as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference regular season champion with a 14-2 conference record. It's the sixth championship for the Golden Eagles and the third in the last five years. Cornerstone head coach Kim Elders was honored as the league's Coach of the Year after leading the team to 26-4 overall record and the No. 1 seed in the postseason tournament. In his 18th season, Elders has averaged 27 wins a season over the last decade.

Nathan Cox of Davenport University received Player of the Year honors. The senior averaged 18.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and provided the necessary leadership for Davenport to close out the regular season on a 9-1 run.

Indiana Tech forward/center Rodney Bartholomew earned the Newcomer of the Year award. The junior averaged 13.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game during his first season in the league.

Noel Emenhiser of Madonna University and Al Sandifer of Siena Heights University shared Coach of Character honors for their display of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.

In addition to naming All-Conference players, an All-Newcomer team and All-Defensive team were announced. Other conference honors include All-Academic, for those juniors and seniors with a 3.25 cumulative GPA, and a Champions of Character team.
