Freshman Kevin Henry recorded a career-high, notched a double-double and averaged 21 points for Madonna University to be named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Henry, a 6-4 forward from Toledo, Ohio, helped Madonna to an even 1-1 week with weekly averaged of 21 points, four rebounds and 5.5 assists. In a 65-87 loss to #13-ranked Cornerstone University, he scored a career-high 27 points, added six rebounds, an assist, block and a steal. In a 70-62 win at University of Michigan-Dearborn, he scored 15 points, grabbed two rebounds, handed out 10 assists and had three steals for his first double-double of his career.
 
On the year, Henry is scoring 13.75 points per game along with averaging 3.95 rebounds and 3.4 assists. Madonna, now 4-17 overall and 1-5 in conference play travels to Concordia University for a WHAC game on Jan. 27.
