Caleb Simons (junior forward from Mt Pleasant, MI.) broke into the 1000 point club last night in an 87-65 victory over Madonna. Simons scored 11 points and pulled down 5 boards in the game to give him a total of 1005 career points and 509 career rebounds. Simons has averaged 11.7 ppg and 5.9 rpg over his career. Simons becomes the 32nd player in Cornerstone men's basketball history to break into the 1000 Point Club. Matt Kingshott is also a member of that club and surpassed the 1500 point mark in last night's game.
