Davenport University was voted at the top team in NAIA Division II Women's Basketball in the latest edition of the coaches poll. DU received 14 first-place votes and a total of 435 points.
 
Davenport boasts an overall record of 17-1 and is 2-0 in conference play as it sits atop the rating for the second consecutive week. The Lady Panthers are averaging 88.5 points per game and have a win marging of 23.2 points.
 
Hastings College (Neb.) sits at the number two team and received two first-place votes. Hastings represents the lone loss on Davenport's record as the Lady Broncos defeated Davenport 74-72 in DU's opening game on Nov. 6.
 
Aquinas College remains ranked 17th in the country with a 12-5 overall record. The Saints are also 2-0 in conference play. Aquinas is averaging 72.9 points per outing and is leading the WHAC in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 38.1%.
