FORT WAYNE, IN- The Indiana Tech Men's Soccer are proud to announce that sophomore defender Mark Baptist (Rochford, Essex, UK / South East Essex College) and senior midfielder Stu Thornton (Angola, IN / Angola) have been named to the 2009 NSCAA NAIA All Mid-East Region Team. In addition, Coach Martin Neuhoff was named 2009 NSCAA NAIA Mid-East Region Coach of the Year.

Baptist anchored a stingy Warrior defense that allowed 1.18 GAA including 8 shutouts. Thornton tallied 4 goals and 1 assist while patrolling the midfield for Tech. Both players are First Team All-WHAC. For Coach Neuhoff, this is the second honor bestowed upon him; he was also named WHAC Coach of the Year. All region Coach of the Year recipients are finalists for the NSCAA/Mondo National Coach of the Year award at their respective levels.
