The Indiana Institute of Technology volleyball team went 2-1 during pool play to advance to the championship bracket at the 2009 NAIA Volleyball National Championship in Sioux City, Iowa.
Unseeded Tech placed second in Pool C after winning 3-1 against Biola University (Calif.) and 3-1 over Shawnee State University (Ohio). The Warriors (35-9) lone loss of the tournament was to third-seeded Northwestern College (Iowa) in five sets.
The Warriors will play fifth-seeded Azuas Pacific University (Calif.) (27-8) in the single-elimination bracket on Dec. 4. APU advanced as the top seed from Pool E after winning all three pool matches.
