Freshman Carly Plank of Aquinas College (Mich.) completed the 5k course in 19:09 to place 34th out of 330 runners at the 2009 NAIA Women's Cross Country National Championships in Vancouver, Wash.
Plank narrowly missed being named to the All-America team as the top 30 runners receive the honor. The Aquinas women finished 21st out of 32 teams with a combined score of 464 and 1:40:27 time.
