Jeo Pantoja of Aquinas College and James Gilpin of Davenport University were named the season's final Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

Pantoja scored all three of Aquinas' goals to be named the Offensive Player of the Week as the Saints went 1-1. The junior forward from Grand Rapids, Mich. accounted for all the goals in a 3-2 win against Cornerstone University for six points on the week. Aquinas failed to score during a 2-0 loss to Deavenport in the opening round of the WHAC Conference Tournament. Aquinas finished at 13-4-2 and will need to receive an At-Large bid in order to qualify for the 2009 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship.

Gilpin, a freshman from Newcastle, England, made two saves during Davenport's 2-0 win against Aquinas to be named Defensive Player of the Week. The goalkeeper allowed three goals in a 4-1 loss earlier in the week to Madonna before rebounding to save the opening game of the WHAC Conference Tournament. Davenport improves to 8-10-0 and will face Indiana Institute of Technology in the championship game.
