Cornerstone University's Isaac Grotenhuis and Josh Verhulst of Indiana Institute of Technology have been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.
 
Grotenhuis, a sophomore from Hilo, Hawaii, scored two of Cornerstone's three goals during a 3-1 victory against Concordia University to earn offensive honors. It was just the third and fourth goals of the season for the midfielder. The Golden Eagles sit at 8-6-0, 6-3-0 in conference and host Madonna University on Oct. 21.
 
A senior from Wyoming Park, Mich., Verhulst registered his second shutout of the year in a 2-0 victory against Davenport University. The goalie improved his GAA to 1.79 with the shutout to be awared the defensive honor. Tech improved to 7-6-0 on the year (5-3-0 in WHAC) and will Siena Heights University on Oct. 21.
