The top two teams in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) for women's cross country didn't budge in the latest NAIA rating. Aquinas College continued to run at the #12 spot and Cornerstone University stayed at #15.
It's the second week at #12 for the Saints. They started the year at the No. 17 slot and have inched up the poll. Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) was tabbed as the top team in the NAIA for the second consecutive week.
Aquinas has two meets coming up. The Saints will run in Chicago at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational on Oct. 3 and then will compete in the Michigan Intercollegiates on Oct. 9.
Cornerstone will compete in the Greate Louisville Invitational on Saturday before joining Aquinas at the Michigan Intercollegiates.
Siena Heights University was listed in the "Others Receiving Votes" section of the poll with one point.
