Aquinas College and Cornerstone University continue to represent the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) in the national ratings for the sport of Men's Cross Country. Both squads stayed at their same position as last week in the latest NAIA National Rating.
Malone University (Ohio) continued to hold on to the top spot with 591 points and 20 of the 21 virst-place votes. Aquinas landed at #2 with 569 points and the remaining first-place vote. Aquinas has been voted second in the nation for four straight weeks.
 
The Saints have ran in one meet so far, with the majority of the season to come. The team travels to Chicago for the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational on Oct. 3 and then will compete in the Michigan Intercollegiates on Oct. 9.
 
Cornerstone landed at #11 for the second consecutive week, grabbing 410 points. The Golden Eagles have two meets under their feet, placing second at the Hope Invitational and fifth at the Calvin College (Mich.) Invitational. Cornerstone travels to the state of Kentucky for the Greater Louisville Inviatational on Oct. 3 and will also run in the Michigan Intercollegiates.
