The Siena Heights University Athletic Department is proud to announcing the hiring of Chris Pomy as their new Head Men's Golf Coach.

Pomy is currently the Assistant Golf Professional at Tecumseh Country Club, in Tecumseh Michigan. He also has worked at several different golf schools such as the John Jacobs School in Phoenix, Arizona and the Jim McLean Golf School in Traverse City, Michigan. Pomy is currently writing a golf column called ‘Play Better Golf' which is publicized weekly in the Adrian Daily Telegram. He is also currently on the testing route to become a PGA Class A Professional. On top of his vast golf knowledge Pomy has his Bachelor's of Arts degree in sport management from the University of Michigan-School of Kinesiology.

Siena Heights Athletic Director Fred Smith comments on the hiring of Chris Pomy. "Chris will bring vast teaching experience as well as great enthusiasm to our Men's Golf Program. We are counting on a smooth transition as Coach Mark Dooley has done a fine job the last two years but coaching two sports has proven to be a difficult challenge."
