Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) members are sending 59 men and 43 women in a total of 66 events to the 2009 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships. Preliminaries start Thursday in Johnson City, Tenn.
 
Aquinas College has 10 men competing in six different events and 10 women in five events.
MEN - Rumeal McKinney has the third-fastest time in the 200 Meter Dash and will also be running in the 60 Meter Dash. Jake Sanders joins McKinney in the 200 Meter Dash. Chris Leikert is entered in the Mile Run with the sixth-fastest time while Mike Gravelyn is running the 3,000 Meter Run. The 5,000 Meter Run has Rob Veldman and Sean McGlothlin. Victor Ramerize, Dustin Heiler, Nolin Stickney, Leikert and Nick Thelen will represent in the 4x800 Meter Relay.
WOMEN - Joordn Hall and Allison Strouse will run in a couple of sprints - both the 60 Meter Dash and the 200 Meter Dash. Nicole Parker will also run in the 200 Meters. Emily Popma qualified in the 5,000 Meter Run and Heather Becker will compete in the Weight Throw. The team of Caitlyn Bonney, Chelsey Bonney, Alicia Boynton, Chaney Robinson and Samantha Rinkus will compete in the 4x800 Meter Relay.
   
Cornerstone University is sending 12 men in eight events and 13 women in eight events.
MEN - Jacon Erickson will be competing in the 400 Meter Dash. Alex Green is entered in the 5,000 Meter Run. The 4x400 Meter Relay team consist of Kurtis Koffkey, Adam Duerksen, Joey Symonds, Erickson and James Van Oss and the Distance Medley Relay team features Wes Muller, Erickson, Billy Carl and Zach Ripley. Kris Shear qualified for the 3,000 Race Walk. Field events participants include Joel Leong in the Weight Throw and Kenny Tuffelmire in the High Jump.
WOMEN - Amy Boyer is a three-event athlete in the Pole Valut, High Jump and Pentathlon. Janelle Brown and Katie Malinowski qualifed for the 3,000 Meter Race Walk. Brandi Hagan will vault in the Pole Vault. Andi Owens is entered in the 1,000 Meter Run. Kay-De Vaughn is in the Triple Jump. Kayla Wilson is also in the Long Jump and Pentathlon. The 4x400 Meter Relay team of Wilson, Kelly Peterson, Lauren Pierce and Samantha Smith qualified. Tracy Dykstra, Smith, Janey Sluka, Owens and Melissa Sawicki comprise the Distance Medley team.
 
There are six men on the distance medley relay team representing Davenport University. This marks the first national indoor championship in which Davenport athletes will compete. 
MEN - The Distance Medley Relay team of Keith Heyboer, Paris Bell, Denny Major and Andrew Hawks broke onto the scene two weekends ago at the WHAC Indoor Championships when they won the race for DU's first ever championship in a WHAC Meet.  Subsitutes Joey Snellink and Alex Tenelshoff will also be making the trip.
WOMEN - Jess Roodvoets will be the lone women's competitor in the women's long jump.
 
Indiana Institute of Technology has 14 men entered in two relays and nine events and 14 women competing in eight events.
MEN - Russell Dill is among the favorites to medal in the 400 Meter Dash. Derrick Brinkley is entered in the 800 Meter Run while John Wainwright is running the Mile Run. Matt Ditzler has one of the top four times in the 5,000 Meter Run. Evan Carpenter qualified for the 60 Meter Hurdles. The 4x400 Meter Relay team, Brinkley, Dill, Zac Chapman, Carpenter, Ronald Elliott, Jason Chapman, Wainwright and Tommy Mullen, has a shot at the national championship with the second-best time. Zac Chapman will also compete in the Heptathlon. Matt Kimbrell, Derek Holste, Mullen and Ben Serna will run the 4x800 Meter Relay. For field events, Ramon Gates is entered in the Triple Jump and the Long Jump. Joe Strong will Pole Vault.
WOMENArielle Anderson will run in the 600 Meter Run Tiffany Aikin qualified in the 60 Meter Hurdles and the Pentathlon. Chanelle Caldwell will compete in the 800 Meter Run and Preosha Graham Coates in the 600 Meter Run. Takeisha Hunt as the seventh-fastest time in the 60 Meter Hurdles. The 4x400 Meter Relay team of Aikin, Anderson, Caldwell, Domi Elizondo, Delta Martin, Renyae Owsley, Coates and Veronica Jersey posted a time of 3:57.61. Jersey, Alyssa Webb, Martin, Anderson, Elizondo, Bell, Christine Bulbranson and Coates are all part of the Distance Medley Relay team. Jersey will also run in the the 800 Meter Run while Owsley qualifed in the 400 Meter Dash. Elizabeth Willford qualifed in the Pole Vault.
 
Siena Heights University had 17 men qualify in 11 different events and seven women entered in six events.
MEN - Fresh off a tremendous WHAC meet, Chris Bullard will compete in the 200 Meter Dash and the Long Jump. Adrian Simmons and Kent Laskowsky are running in the 600 Meter Run. Luke Pawlaczyk is entere din the 800 Meter Run while Alex Russeau and Mike Glinski are in the 5,000 Meter Run. The 4x400 Meter Relay team (Pawlaczyk, Samuel Hogue, Laskowsky, Simmons, Jordan Miles and Alex Lanczki) have the third-fastest time.Marcus Bridget, Brad Monahan and Cameron Rohrscheib qualifed in the Pole Vault. The team for the 4x800 Meter Relay is a favorite for gold as Laskowsky, Jesiah Rodriguez, Simons, Pawlaczyk, Powell and Lanczki have the time to beat. The Distance Medley team of Jake Powell, Hogue, Lanczki, Kyle Smith and Jamil Wilcox rounds out the relays. Joel Young will throw in the Weight Throw.
WOMEN - JoRanda Chapman will run in the 400 Meter Dash while Kimberly Cramer will compete in the 600 Meter Run. Deanna Payne is entered in the Long Jump and Jessica Stasa is in the Weight Throw. The relay team of Payne, Brande Simmons, Cramer, Chapman, Harmony Mead and Shannon Franklin qualifed for the 4x400 Meter Relay.
