Aquinas College senior Pedja Lazic averaged 16.93 points and 9.47 rebounds to earn Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors for men's basketball. Lazic's head coach, Dave Hammer, was named Coach of the Year and James Nelson of Davenport University was named Newcomer of the Year.
 
Lazic led Aquinas to the conference regular-season championship and ranks ninth in the country in defensive rebounds per game (7.33) and #17 in total rebounds per game (9.46). He also ranks No. 22 in field goal percentage, shooting 56.6%. Nelson averaged 10.70 points and 5.33 rebounds per game for Davenport.
