The Aquinas College women's indoor track & field team posted 197.5 points to capture the 2009 WHAC Women's Indoor Track & Field championship. Cornerstone University was a close second with 171 points.
 
Aquinas took six individual titles, swept the first three spots in the 5000 meter run and the 60 meter dash to take the team trophy. Six WHAC schools competed in the meet.
 
Brandi Hagen of Cornerstone was named the Outstanding Performer. The sophomore won the pole vault with a height of 12-03.50. She finished second in the 60-meter hurdles and placed third in the triple jump. Teammate Kay-de Vaughn was named the Most Valuable Performer after scoring 27 points. Vaughn was a two-time champion, winning the long jump with a distance of 18-00.25 and finishing first in the triple jump with a jump of 39-00.25. She also finished third in the high jump and sixth in the shot put.
 
Indiana Institute of Technology was third with 86.5 points, Siena Heights University followed in fourth with 71 points. Davenport University was fifth with 22 points and Concordia University finished sixth with two points.
