The Siena Heights Men's Indoor Track and Field 4 x 800 meter relay team comprising of Adrian Simmons, Jesiah Rodriguez, Luke Pawalczyk, and Kent Laskowsky, broke the fieldhouse and meet record at the University of Findlay on Saturday.
The relay team ran in a time of 7:38.23 breaking the old record of 7:39.16 which was set in 2008. The mark also broke the Siena Heights University record which was also set a year ago. The Saints team has three members of the 2008 NAIA National 4 x 800 meter relay Indoor Champions in Simmons, Pawalczyk, and Laskowsky.
The time also earns the relay team an automatic qualification to the NAIA National Indoor Championships which will be run March 5th, 6th, and 7th at the Memorial Center Mini Dome at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee.
