Lexington, KY - The NAIA All-American and AVCA NAIA All-Region Teams were announced and several members of the Indiana Tech Volleyball team were honored. 
Senior Ashtyn Humerickhouse (Ossian, IN / Norwell) and freshman Ashley Hamilton (Middlebury, IN / Northridge) were selected to the Midwest Region team.  Senior Laura Booker (Fort Wayne, IN / Bishop Luers) was named Honorable Mention.  Hamilton and Humerickhouse were also named NAIA All-America Honorable Mention.  Booker led the team in assists (1,371) and aces (74) and she was ranked 11th in the nation for assists.  Humerickhouse and Hamilton were leaders on the team with kills - averaging 2.9 and 3.25 respectively.  Hamilton was ranked in the top 50 nationally for hitting percentage and she also averaged 2.9 digs per match.
The Warriors were ranked #19 in the nation and claimed their first conference title.  After the WHAC Tournament, the Warriors qualified for their first NAIA National Tournament and advanced to pool play after an opening round victory over King College (TN).  The Warriors finished pool play third in their group and their overall record of 33-5 is the best in school history.
