Ann Arbor, Mich. - The men's golf team remained hot today and posted their lowest score in school history which also shattered the WHAC scoring record. DU's 8-under par 280 topped the field at Friday's WHAC Jamboree #3 hosted by Concordia University.

The Panthers, who were coming off a huge tournament victory at the Lindenwood Fall Invitational earlier this week, kept their hot play alive as they posted an 8-under par 280 to top the WHAC field for the third straight jamboree. DU broke its own WHAC scoring record by five shots that it had held since last season.

Jeff Gelinas and Nick Boone led the charge for the Panthers as they each came in with 4-under par 68's and both were closely followed by Zac Bested who shot a 69. Rounding out the scoring for DU was Kevin Palmer who came in with a 75. Also playing today for the Panthers were Kale Waaso (76) and Adam Thomas (78). DU outdistanced second place Cornerstone by 8 shots and were 17 shots better than third place Madonna (297).

DU will return to the course on Saturday when they remain on the east side of the state to compete in WHAC Jamboree #4 at Madonna University.
